Let's be real here. I am GoldyPants, and I have been playing this game for around 5 months. This is a cash grab. Spins cost stupid amounts for small quantity, and not being pay to win will eventually stop your progress. Let me explain.
Firstly, the friend that introduced me to Pirate Kings told me that I would eventually be able to grind using the "Bomb Strike". On island 5, that worked wonders, but now on Island 51, and even on islands 20+, the ships and buildings have gotten so strong that it takes more than 40 bombs to destroy them!!! Doesn't help that the buildings reset. Also, the bombs never do more than 10 damage, no matter how high your island number is. Therefore, Bomb Strike is useless.
Next is the wheel. I understand that the dev team needs to be careful not to make the game too easy, but with 50 spins, you would be lucky to squeeze out ONE upgrade. And since the playerbase is small, you'll lose all your money before getting some spins back due to robbers.
Wow, this is long, but I got another one about the wheel 😀 PROBABILITY! I have rolled the lowest coin amount more than any other wedge on the wheel. Much more than any other wedge. With only 50 spins, you would be lucky to get enough shields to protect your hard earned buildings, and sometimes max shields aren't enough! Also, the smallest amount reinforces my complaint about the wheel being cheap.
